The client required a modest but well finished house for rent as a vacation villa. The house is on a single level but, due to the sloping land, it overlooks the pool terrace. The house is designed with two wings, with a bathroom shared by two bedrooms. a large, central space incorporates the kitchen, dining, and sitting area. The long, carefully detailed verandah along the front of the house, incorporates high quality fittings and finishes. Clay floor tiles were used throughout with custom designed ceramic inserts depicting the landscape.
