The Bush House is the manifestation of specific functional requirements expressed within the limits of a humble budget, resulting in a 1080 SF 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house over 2 storeys. Four arched glass doors strategically occur in the kitchen, where much time is spent and the view of the valley is highly celebrated. The breathing cage beyond the arches; an interpretation of burglar proofing, expands and contracts on demand simultaneously providing security that fades to openness. The infinity window planters speak to the connection between the home and mountains while also providing additional shade to its rooms. The home is entirely constructed of locally sourced materials.
