This renovation called for a complete turnover within 6 months. The home’s 8’-6” ceilings increased to an impressive 24’ lofty ceiling, to the highest point, which subsequently created an enhanced space with lots of natural lighting and sufficient air flow throughout. The strong axis upon entry offers a seamless flow straight into the kitchen which then continues into the dining and onto the covered outdoor porch. The ceiling mimics this axis through the use of faux beams which act as a subconscious guide through the house. The design palette creates a relaxed atmosphere through the use of natural materials as well as earthy tones.
