The Pool and Piano Pavilion is an addition to Villa Being and is a loft-style pavilion with its own baby grand piano and infinity pool. A seamless indoor / outdoor experience is articulated with sliding pocket doors, large glazed openings, continuous tiled floor finishes, with stainless steel and glass railings along the verandah and pool deck. The building steps down to follow the site’s topography and provides a generously-scaled covered area by the pool. White walls, a sharp-angled parapet roof, hardwood doors and shou sugi ban cladding frame openings with modern details articulated carefully to contrast against the striking coastal landscape.
